A few months ago, we visited a Polish cultural centre and learned about traditional clothing from two regions Górale and Kaszuby.
The Górale, from the Tatra Mountains, wear warm outfits decorated with bold red and black patterns. Men use carved leather belts, and women wear colorful embroidered skirts connected to mountain traditions.
In contrast, Kaszuby clothing is light and decorated with blue and gold embroidery inspired by flowers, lakes, and the sea.
Even though the styles differ, both show the history, nature, and pride of the people who wear them. The visit taught us how traditional dress keeps Polish culture alive.
